Purchase Supplies

This is a big wish list item for us, we currently have a classroom with nly a desk for the teacher.

Kids typically need 2 pair of shoes per year.

Even without washers and dryers, socks still magically disappear. Who knew???

Besides their original school uniforms kids need approx. 3 more school shirts per year.

Exercise books are needed throughout the school year, both for in school and their studies here at Conka Africa Foundation.

Mattresses are needed for both kids here at Conka Africa Foundation and for those in our community outreach programs.

Bicycles are purchased for Secondary Student who travel approx. 5 miles each way to school, often in

A full uniform is needed for kids to attend public schools here in Tanzania.

Includes a bunkbed, 2 mattresses, and 2 sets of sheets.

School supplies needed depends on the age of the student, and can include a backpack, pens, pencils, rulers, mathematic sets, and different sizes and numbers of exercise books.

Provide sanitary products at one Primary school $20/month, or one Secondary Scholl $50.00/month.  Girls often miss up to 1 week of school per month, even if families can afford these items, they are often not purchased because school is not considered a priority for girls. Your donation allows the girls to continue to attend school and not fall behind on their studies.
